Emily Peng, Undergraduate Student (2020-2022)
Emily was an undergraduate student majoring in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) with a minor in Biomedical Research at UCLA. She joined the Yang Lab in January of 2020. Emily worked with Dr. Bo Li and Alice Yang Zhou on developing immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) and cell-based immunotherapies for cancer.
Besides research, Emily enjoyed traveling, volunteering, and baking desserts.
